56: The #1 Reason for Conflict in Marriage with an Entrepreneur

What do you think is the number one reason for conflict in a marriage with an entrepreneur?

I’ll give you a hint: it’s not finances or communication. Those are some big ones too, but they aren’t the reason we are talking about today.

You’ve probably noticed from listening to the podcast that there is a lot of crossover between marriage and business, and you’ll see that pattern emerge again in this episode.

There are characteristics that entrepreneurs have which make them successful in business, but those same characteristics can also be the very thing that can bring down their marriages if they’re not careful.

On Today’s Episode, You’ll Discover:

  • Why the characteristics that make you successful in business can be the things that bring down your marriages
  • The importance of time management
  • How poor time management affects your marriage
  • The value of slowing down
  • How to be mindful about what you say yes and no to
  • Why you need to be intentional about making your spouse a priority
  • When to ask for help
  • Why delegating is key
  • The value of setting up a business that can run without you

If you do not manage your time well, your relationships at home and at work will suffer.

I want you to think about how you can make sure that you are managing your time effectively so you have a thriving business and a thriving marriage.

Don’t forget that you can always email me your thoughts and ideas at hello@marriagesparks.com. I love hearing from you, so don’t be shy!

XO,
Amy
